Although rare with a Weber griddle, following these tips will help avoid warping:
ü Extreme temperature changes can cause warping. Avoid preheating your griddle longer than 10-15 minutes, especially if using chilled food.
ü Only use small squirts of water (using a squeeze bottle) on sticky parts of the cook surface. Do not use large quantities of water while cleaning your griddle.
ü Do not put frozen food on a hot griddle top.
