Before beginning, be sure to have the Weber Connect app installed on the phone or tablet you'd like to use to communicate with the Hub or grill. Learn how to install the app here: Install the Weber Connect app on your phone or tablet.
You'll also need to have Bluetooth enabled on your phone or tablet and given the Weber Connect app permission to use Bluetooth. Learn how to do both of those things here: Enable Bluetooth and granting Bluetooth permissions to your Weber Connect app on your phone or tablet.
Weber Connect Hub

Go to the Grills tab in the Weber Connect app.

Click the Weber Connect Hub to wake it up and put it close to your phone or tablet.

Tap the "Connect grill or device" card. A screen showing a carousel of nearby, active Weber Connect devices appears.

If the first Weber Connect device isn't your Hub, swipe left or right on the carousel to locate it.

Tap the Connect button. Within a few seconds, all four probe indicator lights on the Weber Connect Hub should start flashing to indicate it's ready to pair.

Click the Weber Connect Hub to confirm pairing. The Weber Connect app should show a message indicating success.

Tap Done.
SmokeFire grill

Go to the Grills tab in the Weber Connect app.

If it's not on already, ensure the SmokeFire is plugged into a power outlet and turn it on using the power switch located under the grill's pellet hopper.

Tap the "Connect grill or device" card. A screen showing a carousel of nearby, active Weber Connect devices appears.

If the first Weber Connect device isn't your SmokeFire, swipe left or right on the carousel to locate it.

Tap the Connect button. Within a few seconds, the display on the SmokeFire should show a message saying that your phone or tablet would like to pair.

Click the knob on the SmokeFire to confirm pairing. The Weber Connect app should show a message indicating success.

Tap Done.
Pulse 2000 & Pulse 1000 grills

Go to the Grills tab in the Weber Connect app.

If it's not on already, ensure the Pulse is plugged into a power outlet and turn it on using the red power button.

Tap the "Connect grill or device" card. A screen showing a carousel of nearby, active Weber Connect devices appears.

If the first Weber Connect device isn't your Pulse, swipe left or right on the carousel to locate it.

Tap the Connect button. Within a few seconds, the display on the Pulse should make a sound to indicate it's ready to pair.

Turn the right knob on the Pulse 45 degrees clockwise confirm pairing. The Weber Connect app should show a message indicating success.

Tap Done.
Genesis EX, SX, EPX, SPX grills

Go to the Grills tab in the Weber Connect app.

If it's not on already, ensure the Genesis is plugged into a power outlet and click any of the buttons on the display to wake it up.

Tap the "Connect grill or device" card. A screen showing a carousel of nearby, active Weber Connect devices appears.

If the first Weber Connect device isn't your Genesis, swipe left or right on the carousel to locate it.

Tap the Connect button. Within a few seconds, the display on the Genesis should flash the ✓ button to indicate it's ready to pair.

Press the checkmark button on the Genesis display to confirm pairing. The Weber Connect app should show a message indicating success.

Tap Done.
Spirit SX grills

Go to the Grills tab in the Weber Connect app.

If it's not on already, ensure the Spirit is plugged into a power outlet and click any of the buttons on the display to wake it up.

Tap the "Connect grill or device" card. A screen showing a carousel of nearby, active Weber Connect devices appears.

If the first Weber Connect device isn't your Spirit, swipe left or right on the carousel to locate it.

Tap the Connect button. Within a few seconds, the display on the Spirit should flash the ✓ button to indicate it's ready to pair.
