The instructions on how to pair your Weber Connect device to your phone or tablet can be found here: Pair your Weber Connect Hub or grill to your phone or tablet. If you're not having success, this article will help walk you through some steps to get connected again.
Double-check that you have properly enabled Bluetooth and granted permissions to the Weber Connect app: Enable Bluetooth and granting Bluetooth permissions to your Weber Connect app on your phone or tablet.
Ensure that your Weber Connect device is awake and active by inserting a probe into a probe jack.
First-generation Weber Connect devices can only connect to one phone or tablet at a time over Bluetooth, and a Bluetooth connection is required for pairing. Any nearby phones or tablets that have been paired to the Weber Connect device in the past may be holding on to the Bluetooth connection. Disable Bluetooth on all nearby phones and tablets before attempting to pair. Learn how to do that here: Disable Bluetooth on your phone or tablet. Remember to turn Bluetooth back on after you get everything paired!
Ensure the Weber Connect device you're trying to pair to is physically located near the phone or tablet you're trying to pair to, and there are no physical objects between them, like a wall or a window. Physical objects can sometimes block Bluetooth radio frequencies.
Try rebooting the Weber Connect device. It just may get back into a better state. Learn how to do that here: Reboot your Weber Connect Hub or grill.
Try deleting and reinstalling the Weber Connect app. Learn how to delete the app here: Delete the Weber Connect app from your phone or tablet. Learn how to install the app here: Install the Weber Connect Beta app on your phone or tablet.
