Weber SmokeFire
If you are experiencing connectivity issues with your Weber SmokeFire, there are a few things you can try.
- Push the dial on the controller: Ensure you are pushing down on the dial found on the Weber Connect controller to confirm pairing, otherwise a connection to the app cannot be established.
- Forget the device: Head to your the Weber Connect app settings and tap on your connected SmokeFire under "My Devices." Then, scroll down and tap on "Forget this device."
- Restart the grill: Initiate the shutdown process for your Weber SmokeFire grill. Once the grill has shut down successfully, turn the grill back on and attempt to pair.
Weber Genesis and Spirit Smart Grill Series
If you are experiencing connectivity issues with your Genesis or Spirit Smart Series grill, there are a few things you can try.
- Press the checkmark on the Weber Connect Module: Ensure you are pressing down on the checkmark button found on the Weber Connect Module to confirm pairing, otherwise a connection to the app cannot be established.
- Have you updated the software version on your Genesis or Spirit Smart grill?
- After the software update, did you power cycle the Weber Connect Module?
- Did you re-pair after the software update was completed?
- Does your Weber Connect Module have enough battery?
- Power on the Weber Connect Module to check the battery status. If it's low, replace the batteries in order to get connected.

- Forget the device: Head to your the Weber Connect app settings and tap on your connected grill under "My Devices." Then, scroll down and tap on "Forget this device."
Weber Pulse Electric Grill
If you are experiencing connectivity issues with your Pulse grill, there are a few things you can try.
- Turn the burner knob to complete pairing:

- Have you updated the software version on your Pulse grill?
- After the software update, did you power cycle the Weber Connect Controller?
- Did you re-pair after the software update was completed?
- Reset the Pulse grill
- If the digital thermometer display and the temperature status indicator light(s) are not on, move the red power button on the temperature controller to the OFF position in order to ‘reset’ the GFI safety device
- Wait 30 seconds, then move the red power button to the ON position
